Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is preparing to land on the big screen Friday, May 22, and we’re joining the mission to mark its arrival across the galaxy. Guests can look forward to everything from new attraction updates and interactive experiences to out-of-this-world food and merchandise, celebrating the story of Mando and Grogu in new ways!

Now, let’s buckle up our frog-loving companions and jump into the action!

New Missions Featuring Mando and Grogu

Get ready to embark on an all‑new adventure with Din Djarin and Grogu on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, launching May 22, 2026, at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.

In this new storyline, Hondo Ohnaka has caught wind of a high-stakes deal unfolding on the sands of Tatooine, where ex-Imperial officers have crossed paths with a ruthless band of pirates. With a hefty bounty on the line, guests will take possession of the Millennium Falcon, join forces with Mando and Grogu, and launch into a daring pursuit across the stars.

On this attraction, guests can take the controls of the legendary Millennium Falcon and chart their own course through the galaxy. Each mission may carry passengers to iconic Star Wars destinations including the cloud city of Bespin, the shattered remains of the second Death Star near Endor, or the towering cityscape of the galactic capital, Coruscant.

Adding to the fun, each role introduces fresh gameplay moments, new interactions, and unexpected surprises along the way. A new interactive feature allows the engineer position to check in on Grogu throughout the mission, and make the pivotal planet choice that charts the course.

On May 16, guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park were surprised with a special appearance from Pedro Pascal, who stopped by Black Spire Outpost and delighted fans with an unforgettable moment in the land.

Later in the evening, the cast of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu joined the adventure, exploring Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge together. The group immersed themselves in the sights, sounds, and stories of Batuu while experiencing “The Curious Child” for the first time.

Flavors from the Outer Rim and More

This beloved duo is inspiring more than just intergalactic adventures. New food and beverage offerings themed to Mando and Grogu are arriving across the galaxy, featuring everything from savory bites to sweet treats worthy of a bounty hunter and his companion.

Over at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World, guests can enjoy Grogu Cookies, while guests at Walt Disney World Resort can also try the Sweet-and-Spicy Puffer Pig Pasta.
