Oogie Boogie Bash 2026: Everything You Need to Know

Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party* has arrived at Disneyland Resort!
On select nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026, the separately ticketed, after-hours party at Disney California Adventure Park conjures Halloween mischief and mayhem for guests of all ages.
At the time of publishing, tickets are still available for select dates.
What’s Included with a Ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash?
On event nights, the party officially begins at 6:00 p.m. and continues until 11:00 p.m. That is five exciting hours to enjoy Halloween experiences guests can only find at this after-hours soiree.
Pre-party park mix-in: Oogie Boogie Bash tickets include admission to California Adventure as early as 3:00 p.m. – three hours before the party starts! During this time, guests can check out offerings available during regular park hours.
Photos from the party: Guests can enjoy unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass** photos captured during the party. Guests can scan the QR code on their event wristband via the Disneyland app to access their photo gallery. The pictures can be downloaded from their MyDisney account as often as desired, up to 45 days after initial capture.
Commemorative event guide: The beautifully designed map is handy to reference during the party, and afterwards, it is a collectible keepsake to remember the visit.
Oogie Boogie Bash Costume Tips and Dress Code
One of the perks of Oogie Boogie Bash is the opportunity for everyone to dress up in costume. Guests are invited to get creative, devise a devious disguise or bring out their villainous side – they just have to make sure to follow the costume guidelines.
Tip: Pack a sweater for when the breeze adds extra chills. Comfortable shoes are also highly recommended.
Treat Trails and Character Encounters
Kids and kids-at-heart can collect treats at treat trails across Disney California Adventure (guests will also receive a treat bag when they arrive at the party). But be warned, they’ll encounter villains and other legendary misfits along the way, including Yzma from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Emperor’s New Groove.
Cast members are available at every Treat Trail to offer alternative options for guests looking for allergy-friendly and no-sugar-added treats.
Guests can also meet Disney characters dressed in Halloween outfits and some friends making rare appearances at special greeting locations around the park.
“Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party”
This Halloween season, “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party” comes to life with spooky music, energetic dancing, and happy haunts that guests have come to know and love over the years. It’s a wicked gathering guests can only witness during Oogie Boogie Bash.
Bookable for an additional fee, the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party includes reserved seating for the street party, delectable treats, beverages, and more. As the party processes through the park, dig into a triple chocolate cheesecake, a Dubai chocolate-inspired filled bundt cake with pistachio crunch, and more. Advanced reservations are highly recommended.
Villains Grove at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
Villains Grove at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is a walkthrough of surreal scenescapes inspired by iconic Disney Villains.
Mystical lights, sights and sounds immerse guests in the auras of Dr. Facilier, Frollo, Scar, and other best-loved baddies.
Shorter Ride Wait Times
In addition to the special party offerings, take advantage of shorter wait times for select rides. It’s a great opportunity to experience popular ones like Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark!, Toy Story Midway Mania!, Incredicoaster, and more.
Oogie Boogie Bash Food and More
Before the party officially starts, delight in food and drink available during regular park hours. There are so many seasonal options to try, from the Oktoberfest Dog at Award Wieners to the Pumpkin Pie Mickey Shake from Schmoozies!
This year, during Oogie Boogie Bash, be sure to also head over to Cozy Cone 4 – Frozen Cone-Coctions for the Haunted Highway Cocktail, which includes tequila, pineapple lemonade with blue Curaçao, apple liqueur, and Sprite topped with grenadine and gummy worms.
